Meet Tucker
I will always remember the day we met Tucker. The breeder took us into the barn and let out a loud whistle. Out of nowhere a tiny ball of fluff came flying towards us. In a few seconds the little puppy leapt into my arms and snuggled close. It was love at first sight.
We've had Tucker for 2 years now. He keeps us laughing with his playful mannerisms and sunny personality. He absolutely loves people and is happy to accompany you on any car ride.
His favorite activities include: rolling in the snow, chasing birds or mice he finds in the barn, going for walks, tracking down squirrels, playing fetch, and good old fashioned belly rubs.
Tucker stays out of trouble for the most part. However, he has been known to sneak off to the creek for a swim every now and again. He also has an uncanny ability to find the smelliest puddles or piles of garbage and proceeds to roll around until he is thoroughly coated.
We have to give him frequent haircuts, as he is quite fluffy. But he seems to enjoy all the attention and brushing he gets while being groomed. Just don't mention a bath. He's definitely not a fan.
When it comes to cats, he's utterly afraid. Several months ago he met a cat who was tired of the constant sniffing and chasing. With a swift motion, the cat bopped Tucker on the nose. He learned his lesson. Now, if a cat crosses his path, he runs the other way.
He's my garden companion and Caleb's adventure buddy. We're glad to have this happy little fellow tagging along as we do life.
Thanks for reading,
Abby
