Korean Beef Recipe
Today I'd like to share one of our favorite recipes with you. This recipe checks all the boxes because it's quick, easy, healthy, and delicious. I can't wait for you to try it!
What you'll need:
> 1 lb Ground beef
> 1/2 Medium white onion diced
> 2 Large cloves of garlic, minced
> 1 Tablespoon coconut oil (or cooking oil of choice)
> 1/4 Cup coconut aminos (may be substituted for soy sauce)
> 2 Tablespoons of honey
> 2 Teaspoons of sesame seed oil
> 1 Teaspoon red pepper flakes
> 1/4 Teaspoon ginger
Step 1:
Heat coconut oil in a large skillet. Place minced garlic in the skillet and cook for about a minute.
Step 2:
Add ground beef and diced onion. Cook until meat is thoroughly browned.
Step 3:
While meat is browning, whisk coconut aminos, honey, sesame seed oil, red pepper flakes, and ginger in a small bowl.
Step 4:
Once meat is browned, drain any remaining fat. Once drained, add the liquid ingredients to the pan and continue to cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 5:
Remove from heat and serve with white rice and a side of vegetables (I think stir-fried mixed vegetables or garlic green beans go really well with this dish.)
